ALL HANDS ON DECK! PACK 250 IS GOING TO THE USS YORKTOWN!
We have room for 3 more people.
Save the date now for Pack 250's excursion to the USS Yorktown March 8-10, 2013. We will travel by charter bus from St. Luke's to Charleston and spend the weekend in the luxurious accommodations of the USS Yorktown aircraft carrier. We will also get to visit the SC Aquarium.
The boys in the photo are our current Webelos 2s- we haven't been since they were Tigers!
Please note that Hickory City and Catawba County schools are out on March 8th and 11th. No school will be missed!
We have a reservation for 55 people, which is also the capacity of the bus. All prices are based on a full booking. Unfortunately, due to sleeping arrangements, there is only room for 3 females on this trip.
Sign-ups are on a first come, first served basis. Please do not wait until the last minute to sign-up! Our deposit is due in January, so I have set up a payment plan for the deposit and the balance: $200 Per person Total cost. $50 due 11/26/12; $50 due 1/3/12; $100 due 2/25/12
***If I do not have 55 commitments by December 1st, I will open the trip to other scouts in the area***
Sign-Ups will begin at the October pack meeting.
If we have enough parents going we will break down into patrols with a max of 6 kids per patrol with 2 leaders (probably 4 kids to every 2 leaders). So parents, you don't have to attend with your scout unless he is a Tiger.
Snack and souvenir monies are additional!
Did You Know? Popcorn sales can pay for your trip to the Yorktown!
