Cub Scout Pack 480 of Tualatin, Oregon has temporary been disbanded.
Contact: Claire.Osterman@scouting.org the Skyloo District Director for more information.
We are based out of Bridgeport Elementary and chartered by the Tualatin Kiwanis Club. We have approximately 0 youth in our collective Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos Dens from all over Tualatin. During the school year we will typically have 2 den meetings per month and a pack meeting on the second Wednesday of the month in the Bridgeport Elementary cafeteria.
Our Scouts are active in the community and take part in volunteer tree plants, food and durable goods drives to help improve and support our local area. We have a monthly field trip called a "go see it". Tours of the Tualatin Police Station, Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, Entercom Radio Stations, Evergreen Aviation Museum, KUPL Radio Station, and OMSI are a few examples.
We also provide opportunities for many fun activities, both indoor and outdoor. These include bicycle rodeo, rocket derby, Pinewood Derby, not to mention summer resident and day camps offered by the Cascade Pacific Council as well as hikes in the various parks in our area. Multnomah Falls, Ape Caves and Silver Creek Falls State Park have been some of our destinations.
Scouting is a great adventure and a lot of fun.
We'd love to hear from you! Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
